Rear tyre wall has perished

On Tuesday my ride from Canary wharf to London bridge was hampered by a puncture on the rear wheel.

I have never had to take the rear wheel of and after asking uncle google I thought it was going to be difficult but, thannks to the clip below it was easy.

I repaired the puncture, well I put my spare tube in as there were two small holes and the valve was coming away from the tube!

After putting it together and taking it out for a spin I thought I was done.

As I was parking my bike at work the nect day I noticed something in the wall of the tyre - image soon -.

To my horror it was the inner tube, no amount of patching will fix this but, a failed tyre wall? On further inspection there are more areas of the tyre.

Luckily there is an evans cycles at london bridge who open at 8 so I can fix it and still get to work for 9.
